Cobblers Cottage is a charming character cottage, located in the centre of the village within easy walking distance of Corfe Castle and the picturesque village square, with its selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms and the Swanage Steam Railway. The cottage dates back to the 18th Century and was reputedly the workshop and home of the village cobbler. It has been extended and sympathetically modernised and now offers a surprisingly spacious, welcoming cottage.

At the entrance to the cottage, there are iron gates and a useful boot room. The front door opens into a pleasant dining room, which has a dining table and seating for 8 and a door opening out to the beautiful garden. The attractive, character sitting room has a television, an inglenook fireplace with stunning wood burner and comfortable sofas to provide a perfectly relaxing room for cosy evenings in, after days out exploring this stunning part of Dorset.

Leading from the entrance hallway is a splendid, modern, newly fitted kitchen which has a large range of units, two sinks, an oven with integrated grill and an induction hob, a dishwasher and large fridge/freezer.

Beyond the kitchen is a large extension which has an inner hall with a washing machine. There are three steps up to a superb, spacious suite, which has a Super-King zip and link bed which can be separated upon request to form two 3’ single beds. There is a two-seater sofa and TV in this room, which offers the perfect quiet space for relaxing, with the double doors and windows overlooking the garden. Adjacent to this bedroom is a large shower room, with walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Upstairs there are a further three bedrooms, the impressive master bedroom is bright and spacious and has a king size bed and windows looking over the garden, towards the Castle. Bedroom two is an attractive double bedroom with super views of Corfe Castle and bedroom three is a pleasant twin bedroom.

In the upstairs bathroom there is a modern freestanding bath and a separate enclosed shower cubicle, with double outlet shower system, and a WC and wash hand basin.

Doors from the inner hallway, dining room and ground floor bedroom all lead into the glorious, garden. There is garden furniture to sit, relax and enjoy the peaceful tranquility and fine views of the Castle. There is a small pond in the rear corner of the garden, which has a safety cover.

There is parking for two cars, one space is to the side of the cottage by the front of the property, plus there is a permit for free parking for an allocated space in the West Street car park which is located a short walk from the cottage. Cobblers Cottage is an impressive character cottage, with some low ceilings and low doorways.
